Donation serves Royal Ottawa Place music therapy program

Last summer you may have seen how 14 year old Maya Farrell swam 52.4km across Lake Ontario to raise money for Music Heals. Incredible!

Last week she presented a cheque in support of music therapy to the team at Royal Ottawa Place, a mental health facility with a relatively young clientele, serving people with various challenges.

Thank you to Maya and her family for being such incredible supporters of Music Heals, and music therapy in Ottawa.

L-R: recreation therapists Kellie Halligan & Erin Langiano, Annmarie Nicholson, Director Volunteer Services at The Royal, music therapist Courtney Radbourne, and the amazing Maya.
