Music Heals is thrilled to announce the return of The Music Therapy Ride in partnership with Bikers for Autism to raise funds and awareness of the healing powers of music with a special focus on programs for patients on the autism spectrum!
The Music Therapy Ride brings together prominent members of Vancouver’s business community, music industry, music therapists and motorcycle enthusiasts—all sharing the love of music and providing music therapy to those most in need.
On August 25th, 300 motorcyclists will embark on a Vancouver Police Department-escorted ride starting at The Grand Villa Casino, Hotel and Conference Centre in Burnaby, BC. Riders will hug the breathtaking cliffside along the Sea to Sky Highway with stops at Chances in Squamish and Rise & Shine Retreat in Pemberton, BC.
Registration is now open for this weekend excursion which includes live festival-style performances, a continental breakfast, light refreshments, beer garden, food trucks and camping under the stars in Pemberton Valley at the base of Mt. Currie.
“We are thrilled to continue the wonderful legacy that Patrick Zulinov, Shaw Saltzberg and Chris Dunner have built over the years” chimes Taryn Stephenson, Music Therapy Ride Chair “We encourage riders of all backgrounds to join us on August 25th to raise funds for music therapy and party under the stars for a great cause!” The 2018 Music Therapy Ride looks to offer an inclusive ride experience where all riders feel welcome.
