Approximately 1.8 million Canadians, including children, adolescents, and adults, are affected by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This represents about 4–6% of the adult population and 5–7% of children in Canada. Music therapy has emerged as a promising approach to potentially aid the symptoms of ADHD, helping support psychiatric, neurological, and neurodevelopmental conditions. When incorporated alongside regular treatment or other strategies, music therapy can provide a comprehensive approach to managing ADHD, improving attention, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.⁠
