In a year where mental health needs to be front and centre of all of our priorities, music therapy continues to be on the front lines of life changing – and sometimes lifesaving – work.

Music Therapists are helping Canadians in need with end of life care, in children’s hospitals, in neonatal care and in vulnerable communities.

These valuable music therapy programs will no longer be sustainable without support from donors like you; music will no longer fill the hallways of hospitals and facilities.

Our community continues to show up for each other in times of need; Music Heals needs you to turn up for music therapy!

ADOPT A MUSIC THERAPY PROGRAM IN NEED.

You can make an impact.

The impact of COVID-19 on our community cannot be understated — but I believe there is hope. Brands, corporate partners and philanthropic individuals have a unique opportunity to come together to help address the challenges our communities are facing. We have been humbled by how many of you have already raised your hand in support but the need still exceeds our capacity to fund these amazing programs. That’s why we’re opening up our programs for adoption, so you can make a difference.”

David Barnett

Board President

The need for music therapy funding for 2021 the need exponentially exceeds our capacity. Music Heals is faced with new and unexpected challenges such as $970,000 in lost revenue from cancelled events and fundraisers.

We invite you to explore the available opportunities to fund programs in need by selecting a tab below. If you wish to make a general donation please click the donation box at the bottom of the page.

Each adoptable program has a detailed description of the clients served, the impact music therapy is having and the innovative ways music therapists are practicing in an environment disrupted by COVID-19.

A storytelling opportunity to share how you have changed lives with the healing power of music. You will receive a yearly summary filled with stories and photos of impact to share with staff, clients & your network

An invite to visit the facility to see music therapy in action (if it is safe to do so)

I wish to that support:

You can help us reach more Canadians with the healing power of music. We invite you to give the gift of music to provide hope, strength, relief and encouragement to Canadians in need.

No contribution is too small!
